A one-button dinner jacket in black Clarendon wool and silk, with a silk-faced shawl lapel, the cloth carrying a fine self-coloured dot.
Clarendon is a wool and silk cloth carrying a small self-coloured dot, which does nothing whatever from across a room and a good deal at conversational range. One button, a shawl lapel faced in black silk, slanted flap pockets, a welt breast pocket, buttoned cuffs and a double vent. Made in Portugal.
The shawl is the gentler of the two lapels proper to a dinner jacket, and the more accommodating upon most shoulders. The Black Clarendon Wool Silk Large Party Bow Tie and the Black Clarendon Wool Pleated Cummerbund & Bow Tie Set are cut from the same cloth, and the Black Hampton Wool Flat Front Dress Trouser completes it.
