Hampton is a midweight barathea wool in black. Flat fronted, with a grosgrain silk stripe down each side seam, side adjusters, brace buttons and a slim line through the leg. The hem comes finished. Made in Portugal.
The silk stripe is the mark of a dress trouser, and barathea keeps very good company with a dinner jacket cloth. Correct beneath any of the dinner jackets and the smoking jackets.
