Hampton is a black barathea wool, cut here as a classic Nehru with a standing collar. Antique brass buttons, three jet pockets and a button cuff. Made in England.
In wool rather than velvet the Nehru becomes a jacket for the whole year instead of one season of it, and black carries it nearer to formality than any of the velvets manage. It will stand in for a dinner jacket where one is not strictly demanded.
