Newbridge is a fine wale cotton corduroy in black, nearer in character to a velvet than to anything one would wear to dig a garden. Smoked pearl buttons, exposed patch pockets and a breast pocket. Made in England.
A wale this fine gives texture without ribbing, which allows a corduroy jacket to be worn of an evening as well as at the weekend. Any of the corduroy trousers will do, though not in a matching colour.
