Burgundy cotton velvet, the pile full and closely laid. One button, a peak lapel, angled jet pockets beneath flaps, a ticket pocket and buttoned cuffs. Made in Portugal.
The peak lapel and the single button carry the Newport nearer to evening dress than the Artist jacket ever gets, while stopping short of the silk facings that would make it a dinner jacket.
