A single-breasted waistcoat in Nene velvet, the motif worked into the pile as small olive batons upon a dark ground.
Nene is a patterned velvet in which the motif is worked into the pile itself, small olive batons set close together on a dark ground. Six mother-of-pearl buttons, welt pockets and an adjustable back. Made in England.
A cloth of this density needs nothing above it but a plain dinner jacket, and does perfectly well on its own with a shirt at a party. The Green Nene Velvet Large Party Bow Tie and the Green Nene Velvet Flat Cummerbund & Bow Tie Set are cut from the same cloth.

Measurements are taken from the outside of the garment lying flat then doubled for your convenience, therefore a 20" chest lying flat will measure 40" around.
For an optimum fit in a Favourbrook waistcoat, we recommend selecting a size larger than your standard jacket size. This ensures comfort and ease of movement.
