The AW25 Menswear Collection: An Evolution Of Elegance

The AW25 Menswear Collection: An Evolution Of Elegance

Embracing the essence of modern elegance, our new Autumn/Winter 25 collection blends bold tones, textural fabrics, and refined silhouettes to deliver statement menswear pieces that exude charm and charisma.

At the heart of the collection is a focus on textural richness and vibrant hues that give a new energy to formalwear, while still in deference to classical shapes. Frill dress shirts in ivory and muted pink poplin fabrics capture a playful flamboyance, perfectly suited for modern evening attire. Velvet is as a standout material, offering warmth and depth through a palette of deep, rich colours, as well as a bold multi-tone floral pattern that is sure to turn heads. New cotton velvet tones - including fawn, sapphire blue, and bottle green - infuse dinner jackets, smoking jackets, artist jackets, and innovative smart-casual gilets with a luxurious feel. While these pieces reimagine black-tie dressing with a decadent touch, the new Tommy tuxedo takes eveningwear in a new direction with its voluminous wide-leg dress trousers, creating a unique silhouette for the statement dresser.

"The collection is a testament to our commitment to crafting menswear that empowers the modern man," said Oliver Spencer, Founder of Favourbrook. "By drawing on the principles of dandyism - bold self-expression through fabric and form - we've created garments that are both timeless and timely, perfect for occasions that demand poise and personality."

A highlight of the AW25 season is the 20th anniversary of our iconic bees motif, a design element that has become synonymous with the brand's heritage and innovation. The motif draws inspiration from the Napoleonic bee, a symbol rooted in French heraldry. During Napoleon Bonaparte's reign in the early 19th century, the bee was adopted as an emblem of immortality, resurrection, and industriousness, qualities that echoed the emperor's vision of a revitalised France. Bees adorned his coronation robes, imperial furnishings, and even military standards. This historical reference resonated with our ethos when the motif was first introduced in 2005, symbolising the brand's own revival of classic menswear traditions with a fresh energy.

Over the past two decades, the bee motif has evolved into a cornerstone of our collections, appearing across waistcoats, ties, and accessories to add a layer of whimsical sophistication. It embodies the brand's playful take on formalwear, where subtle details like embroidered bees inject personality into formalwear without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. For AW25, the motif expands its presence, making bold statements on dinner jackets, waistcoats, and even trousers. These pieces feature intricate embroidery in tonal threads, allowing the bees to subtly animate seasonal silhouettes. Whether incorporated into a full evening suit or as a standalone accent, the bee celebrates craftsmanship and storytelling, inviting wearers to connect with a legacy of elegance.

The collection also introduces versatile gilets in cotton velvet, bridging the gap between formal and casual dressing, underscoring our adaptability to modern wardrobes. The emphasis on tactile fabrics like velvet and silk ensures pieces not only look exceptional but feel inviting, promoting a sensory experience in menswear.
