It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas... Central London is absolutely jam-packed with tourists, tractors, and tacky decorations, meanwhile in the countryside we are harbouring more turkeys than tourists, and have a distinct lack of tractors. The tacky tinsel seems to have spread like Japanese knotweed. Nevertheless, city and country folk alike appear to be ready for a fortnight of over-indulgence, family bickering, and James Bond re-runs.
We'll be doing it in consummate style of course. There's nothing better than getting dressed up for Christmas, whether that be a dinner jacket for a cocktail evening on Christmas Eve, or a velvet smoking jacket for a post-lunch prandial on Christmas Day.
