Three Stunning Looks For Mother’s Day

Three Stunning Looks For Mother’s Day

If you’re being wined and dined this Mother’s Day, we’ve curated three striking looks to ensure that everyone recognises that you’re the matriarch. Of course, every day should be a day where you feel beautiful in yourself and in your clothes, but offered a day especially devoted to mothers? We'll take it!

Whether you have the most doting children and husband you could possibly wish for, or your tribe need a little encouragement to express their gratitude, we've curated three feminine and elegant looks for a trio of different Mother's Day outings. Of course, they're not just for Mother's Day - these looks are the perfect representation of luxury, sophistication, and timeless style and thus can be worn to all manner of places and events.

The Elegant Lunch

By now you should have dropped plenty of hints about how it has been so long since you had lunch at Le Manoir so hopefully one of your loved ones was galvanised enough to make the booking! Either way, our Kimono coat is a stunning spring and summer layer, replete with a vibrant floral motif. If you are a fan of Succession, you will have not failed to have noticed the brilliant Dame Harriet Walter wearing one of our Kimono coats during her character's wedding weekend in Chiantishire! This Rhydian silk satin style is perfectly complemented by our crepe satin camisole dress for a casual yet undeniably elegant ensemble.

Afternoon Tea

Did someone say "The Wolseley"? "Claridge's?" "The Lanesborough?" Afternoon tea is one of those delightfully, idiosyncratically British ways to pass an hour or two, especially in one of London's grandest heritage hotels. There is nothing quite like bookending a shopping trip to the capital with a glass of champagne, a nice cup of tea, and a selection of cakes! What's more, spring is the perfect time to head to London, with the flowers beginning to bloom and the summer crowds still a way off. Our Tosca linen swing jacket in ivory yellow is an uplifting piece, with an A-line silhouette and beautiful embroidery details. Complementing its tone yet contrasting its texture, is our Josephine dress in silk douppion, which has a lovely slubby finish to it, and a subtle shimmer.

The Glamorous Dinner

With Jeremy King's new Arlington restaurant in St. James's now taking bookings, it would be rude not to drop in for supper, or otherwise head to the Fulham Road to Claude Bosi's new Lyonnaise hotspot, Josephine. Wherever you seek your culinary delights, we have just the outfit for you: our Belgravia coat in silk organza is a beautiful sheer style featuring delicate floral embroidery throughout and is perfect for glamorous spring nights in the city. It pairs beautifully with our wonderfully feminine tearose heavy crepe dress, which has a flattering svelte cut, but perhaps not flattering enough to hide a 10-course testing menu!
