As I write this, the sun is shining, the birds are in full chorus (complemented by the occasional bass synth of a distant sheep), the slender purple heads of crocuses are emerging in clusters from the ground and I'm being joyfully convinced that spring has finally sprung! It goes without saying that next week could see us plunged into sub-zero temperatures once again as some pithily named weather front descends upon us from "the East". But right here, right now, hope springs eternal!

Which leads me on to one of our favourite, uplifting colours for spring, one that never fails to lighten the mood and make you feel good about yourself - pink. Whether coral, fuchsia, rose or any other nuanced tone, pink has that unerring quality to change the mood. It's fun, feminine, but also confident and empowering. It can be soft and muted, or vibrant and energetic, so diverse are its tones. This season at Favourbrook, we have created a plethora of pink garments for any number of special occasions, each with their own unique characteristics and embellishments.

In outerwear this season, we have a number of splendid options in various pink tones. Our Westminster coat has been constructed in a beautiful peony pink crease-resistant linen this season. It's a flattering, slim line coat in embroidered french linen and features a grown on collar creating a sleek neckline. Contrast silk piping and scalloped edges, alongside hand-covered silk button detailing make this coat a stand out piece at any occasion. Similarly, our Belgravia coat in silk organza is something of a summer showstopper thanks to an ornate floral pattern throughout. It's also available in a stunning apricot pink.
Nothing says spring like the first showing of colourful petals, which is why our Eton coats are always so popular. This season, we have created two new floral motifs, both beautifully arranged upon a crease-resistant linen. Our Peony Tblisi style features floral embroidery, contrast piping, and a scalloped edge hem. A re-worked bodice, this evolution of our Belgravia coat includes back button detailing, working pockets and a full internal lining. We have also created it in a wonderfully feminine coral pink tone that is perfect for sophisticated summer events and especially weddings.

All of our pink jackets and coats are very well complemented by our pink dresses, all of which can be mixed and matched to create a chic tonal look.
