Olive cotton velvet, the pile full and closely laid. Single breasted, with a shawl lapel finished in braid, angled jet pockets beneath flaps, and black frogging at the fastening. Made in Portugal.
Olive is the smoking jacket for the man who already owns a black one. Under lamplight it goes very nearly to black, and recovers its green the moment daylight is admitted, which suits an evening beginning before dusk.
