Five Dresses for Festive Entertaining

Five Dresses for Festive Entertaining

The time for entertaining friends at home is here! As the end of the year draws to a close, there is no better time to time invite friends round and celebrate the year that was. Entertaining should be at the heart of the home, right next to your wardrobe! But seriously, dressing up for friends old and new makes for a special occasion, so we've handpicked five festive dresses that bring a fun and chic personality to the party.

Our Bella dress is a beautifully embellished style with a colourful yet delicate floral tapestry. The svelte v-neck shift dress is a new style this season, and features both a gathered shoulder detail and a pretty fluted sleeve finish. The zip fastening is concealed for a clean finish. It's ideal for bringing a pop of colour to the party.

Where would we be without a little black dress!? Our perennial favourite, the Serena Circle dress, features a scoop neck, three-quarter sleeves, and a satin belt with bow detail, with a flirty circle skirt. Effortlessly feminine and undeniably flattering, every woman needs a little black dress or five in their wardrobe.

A new shape for the season, this longer line fit-and-flare dress has a flattering empire line detail with a deep V. A softly tailored bias cut skirt and flattering three-quarter length sleeve make the Poppy dress both elegant and practical, while the rich burgundy tone has a decadence that brings an upbeat attitude to any gathering. Finished with a pretty tulip sleeve detail and a concealed zip.

Our beautiful Florence dress in Sapphire, features a v-neckline and is constructed from a sumptuous douppion silk fabric. It's an elegant option for smart day events and pairs beautifully with tonal blue coats and jackets. On it's own, it's a wonderful piece for parties where you need to make a good impression.

We couldn't resist adding this berry colour version of the Serena Circle dress to the list. For one, the colour is so vibrant and really brings an energy to the room. The lightweight silk georgette has a lovely fluid quality to it too, especially useful if drinks turn into dancing!
