Just Peachy

Just Peachy

While one eye is fixed on Autumn style, the warm glow of sun on our backs has us thinking about those transitional pieces from the new collection that bridge the seasonal gap. One such tone that is peach, a light yet warm colour that perfectly complements a sunny day, while also being neutral enough to juxtapose with darker tones on more autumnal days. Peach is a delicate colour, innately feminine, girlish even. It speaks of fun and lightheartedness, but it's also reserved and elegant and we love this dichotomy, which is why it's a key colour in our transitional wardrobes. This season, we have created a number of different peachy pieces that really play to the tone's soft strengths.

SERENA LONGER CIRCLE DRESS BLUSH PLAIN GEORGETTE

First among them is our Serena dress which we have cut in a stunning 100% silk Georgette fabric. It features a classic scoop neck and a full circle skirt with a satin belt and three quarter length sleeves. The tone is beautifully delicate, like a fine Provençal rosé! The addition of the satin belt creates a very flattering silhouette too. It's perfect for late summer/early Autumn events, mixed with other pastel tones, but it can also be worn with rich hues of pink, coral and red as the days shorten.

THERESE COAT PEACH GOLD DARWIN SILK VELVET

Another of the peach elements of the collection is the Therese coat which can be worn as a tonal layer with the Serena dress. This striking mid-length coat in silk velvet features a beautifully subtle glittering embroidery, and combines an elegant fitted waist with cowl collar, full-length sleeves and double fabric-covered  buttons. The slight flare gives it a playful yet sophisticated finish.

Finally we have the Issy jacket in Penninghame embroidered silk georgette. It is an elegantly waisted cropped jacket that has been cut in a contemporary Italian embroidered georgette to create a textural yarn that holds the geometric motif perfectly. Great for daywear or formal occasions, you'll find it's an incredibly versatile addition to your wardrobe.
