Essential Wedding Style: The Mother of The Bride

Essential Wedding Style: The Mother of The Bride

There is no doubt that it is the bride who feels the most pressure to look her best on her wedding day, but lest we forget the mother of the bride, the third most important person on the big day! She plays a vitally important role, meeting and greeting, and taking the plaudits for bringing up such a fine human being, so it only figures that mother of the bride dresses and coat should be given the upmost importance! The mother of the bride's aesthetic needs to convey timeless style, taste, and a degree of authority. all of which our coats and dresses deliver with aplomb...

Long Coats

Coats tend to be the real show stoppers at weddings and our new Spring/Summer 26 collection has an abundance of styles that will be perfect for mothers of the bride or groom. From our perennial Belgravia and Westminster coats to the show-stopping Carnaby coat, will will soon be showcasing the finest in formal craftsmanship, with styles made from a variety of lightweight silk fabrics and crease-resist linen.

While silk carries an undoubted allure, crease resist linen boasts a subtle textural finish that stands up to the rigours of an all-day event. Mother of the bride outfits need to look as polished on the dance floor as they do in the church or registry!

For Spring/Summer 26, we have created some confidently feminine full-length Carnaby styles in sumptuous silk, replete with bold and dynamic patterns. These coats come with a high neckline and the majority of this season's styles have been cut in a luscious silk satin which really enables the colours and patterns to pop.

Dresses

This season, we have a beautiful array of day-to-evening styles cut in a variety of luxury fabrics such as Shantung silk, silk chiffon, silk georgette, and silk douppion, all of which have been utilised in a variety of silhouettes. Playful styles such as our Serena circle dress are ideal for summer weddings since they are cut from a lightweight barely-there silk georgette and boast a graceful movement in the skirt.

At Favourbrook, we understand how important it is to look and feel your very best on the most important days of your life, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would like advice. The wedding days of one's children are truly momentous occasions in life and we want to ensure that the pride you feel for your daughter or son is only heightened by the confidence you feel in yourself!

Our Spring/Summer 26 collection will be released in the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled!
