Royal Ascot 2023 really kicked off many months ago here at Favourbrook as we were incredibly busy curating a host of new sartorial garments and elegant womenswear for the new season. It has been a pleasure dressing so many of you for this exciting week, and it only really hit home last week when we held our annual pre-Ascot drinks, hosted by Clare Balding and her champion trainer brother Andrew of Parkhouse Stables, Kingsclere.
As the official menswear licensee for Royal Ascot, the event is naturally one of the most important in the calendar for us. Besides, being one of the most prestigious racing events of the year, it is also without doubt the most glamorous and an opportunity for race goers to dress up in their finery. This week we have seen some exceptional examples of gentleman wearing morning dress and a great many elegant ladies parading around the ground in Favourbrook creations.
One such lady is Anna Lisa Balding who always seems to look splendid in every Favourbrook garment she tries on! This year she kicked off proceedings in a beautiful royal blue coat on day one, followed buy a stunning, colourful a linen Westminster coat on day two, and a silk satin Carnaby coat to round off the week. We couldn't have a better ambassador for the brand!
Candid moments like the one below are always so special, showing people caught up in the excitement of the moment. Royal Ascot doesn't do dull moments, but there are wonderful lulls in the rollercoaster of the day where racegoers take a breath before the next peak!
Of course, if you've been watching the racing on ITV4, then you won't have failed to have noticed that Oli 'Lunatic' Bell (that's what the late Queen called him, we love him!) has been repping Favourbrook all week and we're very honoured to have had both Oli and his legendary father Rupert model for our Royal Ascot collection campaign.
Until next year!!!
