SS24 Collection
SS24 Campaign - Behind The Scenes
There are many variables involved in producing a great shoot, some very obvious, such as the venue and models. But there are always certain unquantifiables that can make or break a shoot - things like atmosphere or the quality of the natural light. There's nothing more frustrating than shooting at a beautiful outdoor location and having a blanket of dull white cloud above you, prohibiting the lovely shadows and nuances of direct sunlight. The mood of the crew is so integral too, as they bring the energy required to carry the shoot right the way through to the final clicks of the camera shutter at the end of the day. Luckily, we've shot with the same team for years, and thus have built a great relationship.
The other difficultly of shooting style on location is that invariably one is in the wrong season, ie trying to shoot winter in summer and vice versa, hence why shooting indoors takes a lot of the guess work out of the equation.
For Spring/Summer 24, we decided to return to the historic Carlton House Terrace, just a short walk away from us on Pall Mall. The interiors of the building are the perfect blend of old-school richesse and subtle modernity, both of which lend themselves very well to the Favourbrook aesthetic for both our menswear and womenswear collections.
