Favourbrook's AW20 collection is here and with it a return to elegance

Favourbrook’s AW20 collection is a timely and uplifting antidote to a tumultuous year, as it seeks to champion a return to elegance and sophistication in the inimitably Favourbrook way, with twists on the classics that put the fun back into formalwear.

2020 may well be the year that many of us inadvertently discovered how surprisingly easy it was to conduct life with nothing more than an ironed shirt, pyjama pants and a laptop), but we’re determined to prove that it will also be the year that we rediscovered the joy of dressing up.

For this collection - almost all of which is made in the UK - we have revisited some of our most popular eveningwear silhouettes and fabrics, revitalising them with a vibrant palette of forest green, burnt orange, rust and tobacco. Rich velvet jackets come in a variety of silk grosgrain lapel styles and our iconic wool damask dinner jackets once again salute the artisanal craft of our eveningwear, with complex floral patterns stealing the show. We’ve sharpened the lines of our Nehru collar jackets and introduced the Sackville artist jacket too, rounding off one of our most accomplished velvet collections to date.

Favourbrook morning dress ing for AW20

Morning dress shifts gears for the winter season, with a focus on mid-weight wool yarns and luxurious recycled cashmere making up our morning coat options. We have also sourced some beautiful tartan fabrics this season for those of a plaid persuasion. As ever, our formal shirting collection is the very height of luxury, made by hand in the UK. Waistcoats shift from linen styles to warmer velvet styles in a rich autumnal palette, complementing the more formal and ornate silk creations.

Favourbrook velvet eveningwear

In suiting, Favourbrook has reimagined its classic Newport suit in seasonal navy and grey wool yarns for the smart professional, while also creating the jacket in a deep navy velvet for the evenings, and a navy corduroy suit, for a more casually tailored look ideal for weekends. Casual shirting has been elevated too with a number of new and vibrant prints, including some stunning botanical designs that will lift any smart-casual outfit.
