We might all be restricted to our respective four walls right now but if you're anything like us, you'll have one eye on future engagements and chances of socialising because what else is there to look forward to! So rather than remain mired in the reality of now, we asked some of our team to pick their favourite pieces from the sale for more joyous times in the (hopefully not too distant) future.

"I've been wearing our velvet Artist's jacket a great deal during lockdown 1, 2 and 3! Although it would be perfectly acceptable for an alternative eveningwear look, I've been surprised at just how easily it wears in a casual situation. I've been wearing it over a fine-gauge roll neck with jeans and feel very much at home in it! Certainly more appealing than loungewear day-in, day-out. Looking further forward to the spring, I think our Indigo Zeus Cotton Oratory shirt is a great steal. It's cut in a beautifully soft cotton and indigo dyed too which just takes away some of the formality. Easy with a casual blazer or lightweight knit and a great option if you're not into bold tones.

"I'm sincerely hoping that we'll still be able to enjoy most of the Season this year so I've picked two pieces which reflect my optimism, however misplaced! First up is our stunning Belgravia coat in silk organza. It's as light and fluid as it looks, and the detailing is really quite something. We created it in two colour styles, a blue/black and a black/gold - and I can't make my mind up on which one I prefer. Either way, the muted palettes of both are very chic and the floral detailing is very Pre-Raphaelite, which I love. My second pick is our dark green Trafalgar jacket, made in London from French embroidered silk velvet. The green tone is so lustrous, the cut so sophisticated, and the textural finish is a marvel. It's a true investment piece.

Given that my domain is in the waistcoat and accessories boutique in the Piccadilly Arcade then it would be remiss of me not to choose a waistcoat and some accessories! In the sale this season, we have an eclectic mix of quite classic waistcoat styles alongside some of our more flamboyant designs. There are some beautiful options for summer weddings, but right now I have my eye on this burgundy wool style that makes for a nice addition of subtle colour beneath a charcoal business suit. The muted tone and the delicate pattern are just enough to catch the eye. As far as accessories go, a man can never have enough varieties of black bow tie, so I have chosen this black silk velvet design, which ties into a sizeable bow, perfect for making a statement with black tie.

"There are some real treats to be had in the Womenswear sale this season, from sumptuous velvet coats to elegant silk cocktail jackets. It's very difficult to pick only two items so I'm going to cheat and recommend any of our silk Shantung dresses. Shantung is the gold standard of silk fabrics and features a subtle slub texture that just makes it so much more beguiling than plain silk. I don't know about you, but having a new silk dress in my wardrobe at the very least gives me some much needed anticipation of glamorous events to come! Failing that, I love the luscious green velvet ladies' smoking jacket. The cut, the texture, the sophistication of it - perfect for slipping on on a Friday night and mixing up a cocktail. If you can't go to the party then the party must come to you! "
