Fans of our Belgravia coat will adore the Eton coat, which features a re-worked bodice, tailored pockets, and back button detailing. The Carnaby coat is inspired by longline styles of the 1960s and is at its very best in stunning printed silk fabrics or embroidered crease-resist linen. Most styles tend to feature contrast piping details and fabric-covered buttons at the front. This elegant coat is actually inspired by the Indian achkan or sherwani, a garment worn by Jawaharlal Nehru, the prime minister of India from 1947 to 1964, hence the iconic stand collar. It also features fabric covered buttons in a very striking configuration at the front, with working pockets and cuffs. With a very flattering svelte silhouette, we have created versions in both linen and silk for the summer season.
