We're thrilled to present a brand new fabric discovery in this season's collection that combines luxurious silk velvet with a delicate and feminine floral pattern inspired by the snowdrop, creating a wonderfully textural finish. The fabric comes in two colours - a plush emerald green and a softer bronze hue, both perfect for day wear and evening wear.
We've used both colourways to create our cropped Chiswick jacket. This elegantly styled short jacket features a flattering stand collar, and a versatile cuff that can be folded back for added style. The textural bronze floral motif pairs well with tonal hues as well as offering a bold contrast to black dresses and trousers for eveningwear ensembles, while the rich emerald green option pairs beautifully with our matching Cigarette Trousers Evergreen Silk Douppion.
We have also used the emerald green silk velvet to create a new shorter version of our perennial Swing Coat. It's a three-quarter length tunic coat that features slim tailored sleeves with a working cuff, making it the perfect option for elegant day wear. It can be elegantly paired with our Tailored Jumpsuit Moss Saona Crepe Satin, or layered over our Florence Dress in EverGreen Plain Silk Douppion for a sophisticated eveningwear ensemble.
