Meet the New Autumn/Winter 22 Collection by Favourbrook Womenswear

Seductive silhouettes and an array of rich, deep, gothic tones define a confident and sophisticated femininity in the new Autumn/Winter 22 collection by Favourbrook Womenswear. This season features a resplendent collection of new luxury fabrics that has been fashioned into Favourbrook Womenswear’s perennial coat silhouettes, as well as a host of new dress styles in which to make a powerful impact.

As always, the design of each new collection begins with the fabrics, and this season we were able to discover some quite stunning luxury cloths in silk and velvet in particular. Starting with the velvet coat collection, a seasonal highlight, this season’s palette luxuriates in deep autumnal tones such as plum, brown, burgundy, and forest green, alongside an array of navy tones and black, all of which creates a strong and passionate wardrobe.

Of the new arrivals, the fitted Bloomsbury Martingale Coat is inspired by military great coats and features contrast detailing and a stand collar with subtle contrast trim. Sleek and chic, it is an outstanding long-line style for eveningwear. The Camden jacket is a new shape based on the classic Nehru jacket for men and is made in London (like all our designs) using Favourbrook signature silk velvet. We’ve recreated our forever popular Carnaby coat in a number of seductive iterations, including a glorious black crepe de chine as well as silk satin, silk jacquard and silk velvet iterations, while our Westminster coat has also been updated according to the new season palette.

Styled on our very successful men’s smoking jacket, we have come up with one for the ladies - the Library Jacket - featuring a classic contrasting shawl collar and cuffs, and, finished with a corded edge held closed with classic frog fastening. It’s available to two styles both embellished with floral embroidery.

We have expanded the Duster coat options to now become a trio of statement silhouettes in silk velvet and one in cotton velvet. Originally designed for horsemen to wear over their smart attire to protect their finery, we've refined the classic silhouette and turned it into something far more sophisticated, decorated with ornate handwork. Alternatively, the one also has another beautiful long-line option in our perennial Swing coat, which has also been rendered in a number of autumnal velvet tones.

This season’s dress collection is as versatile as it is colourful, spearheaded by our very popular Josephine dress which comes in a variety of silk Shantung and silk douppion fabrics. New for the season is the eye-catching Margo Dress in Antique Gold Papavar Silk Satin - crafted from 100% silk, the Margo dress is a beautiful v-neck style with a fitted waist and pleated A-line skirt. A beautiful orange and purple floral motif pops out of an antique gold canvas, making this dress perfect for both day and evening wear. The Poppy dress is a new shape with a longer-line fit and flare dress and flattering empire line detail with a deep V-neck. A softly tailored bias cut skirt and flattering three quarter length sleeve, make this dress both elegant and practical. Finished with a pretty tulip sleeve detail and a concealed zip. Elsewhere our classic A-line Serena Circle dress has been crafted in a number of different silk georgette fabrics, and is sure to be a seasonal favourite being easy to dress up and down.

Some additional masculine silhouettes have been incorporated into the collection, including jumpsuits, waistcoats, a number of short jackets in the form of the Trafalgar, Victoriana, Abigail and Clemmie styles, and cigarette trousers. Made famous by Christian Dior in his 1954 H-Line collection, these tailored trousers bring a powerful femininity to a modern wardrobe. We hope you enjoy the new collection.
