Show-Stopping Party Attire

Show-Stopping Party Attire

When the occasion calls for letting your hair down, dressing up is a question of making a fun and confident statement - and preferably one you can dance in! For the discerning woman, choosing the perfect look for a gala or formal event is an art, combining elegance with a touch of drama. Favourbrook’s collection embodies this balance, offering meticulously crafted pieces that blend timeless sophistication with modern flair.

From shimmering velvet jackets to exquisitely detailed silk coats and dresses, each piece is designed to captivate. For an evening of glamour, look to rich jewel tones, luxurious fabrics, and silhouettes that flatter every angle, as well as interesting textures that flatter in candlelight. Whether the event calls for a statement waistcoat under a chic blazer or a timeless silk dress, the key is to strike a balance between elegance and individuality. We've curated a party collection below to tick all these boxes and then some.

The Waistcoat and Blazer

Super chic and effortlessly timeless, a waistcoat and blazer combination provides just the right amount of glamour and formality. The waisted shape of the blazer (aka 'le Smoking') and the dropped V of the waistcoat ensures a really feminine aesthetic that looks as good at a smart dinner table as it does on the dancefloor. This season, we've created some matching trousers for some of our waistcoat styles, inspired by the incredible trouser suit worn by Bianca Jagger at her wedding to Mick Jagger in 1972.

The Silk Party Dress

The consummate party dress needs to be fun and dynamic while also being elegant and sophisticated. Sometimes, that balance can be struck through the combination of cut and fabric, whereas other dresses rely more on colour and pattern. Which you opt for is largely determined by the type of party but also your personality. If you exude confidence and enjoy making a statement, then you'll love our Lulu dress which comes in two vibrant options. Both are made from incredibly lightweight crepe de chine and feature fun feathered sleeves. Another vibrant option is the Bella Dress in Cobalt Azure Parmee Silk Satin. It has move of a fitted shape with three-quarter length tulip sleeves.

The Statement Coat

The one common denominator for all parties is that you have to arrive at them, so why not make an entrance?! Whether its a chic London restaurant, a glamorous ballroom, or a kitchen disco, go big with the coat! Silk velvet is a beautiful fabric, and despite how plush and rich the fabric looks, it is incredibly lightweight. Our silk velvet coats come in a variety of stunning tones that catch the light and come alive, with intricate embroidery rising up from the hems.
