At Favourbrook, we have long understood that the right occasion calls for something more than mere formality. This autumn we have turned our attention to one particular ritual: the cigar. In collaboration with Eddie Sahakian, whose family has run the celebrated Davidoff of London store on St James’s Street since his father Edward opened it in 1980, Favourbrook has created a small capsule designed expressly for the cigar smoker.

Eddie wanted a garment that took a step away from the classic shawl-collar smoking jacket yet still carried the colour, character and sense of occasion Favourbrook has become known for. The result is this stunning velvet smoking jacket, cut in the capsule’s signature Scarsdale Blue fabric. This cotton velvet was developed as an original print with an Italian mill; the design is a vintage-inspired “faded indigo” floral in subdued tones of blue and aquamarine. The jacket is finished with wider 10 cm black silk contrast lapels and silk-covered buttons.
