Three statement coats to turn heads this summer

Three statement coats to turn heads this summer

First impressions count. Take a University of Toronto study in 2017, which found that we decide in as little as five seconds whether or not a person is charismatic! So if you want to make your entrance count, ensure you make a splash! In all seriousness, sometimes it pays to be bold, especially at certain social occasions when you want to make your mark. One of the most elegant ways to do so is with an attention-grabbing coat, of which Favourbrook has created many of the years. The three we have selected here are this season's head-turners, thanks to vibrant patterns and sumptuous fabrics.

COLLARLESS DUSTER COAT YELLOW CHESSELL SILK SATIN

Duster coats were originally designed for horsemen to wear over their smart attire to protect their finery, but we've refined the classic silhouette and turned it into something far more sophisticated. Constructed from 100% silk satin, our full-length collarless duster coat features three-quarter length sleeves and has been decorated with the most magnificently ornate design. With gold, yellow, orange and sky blue tones to the fore, it's a spring/summer coat that won't fail to turn heads.

CARNABY COAT BLUE GOODALL SILK SATIN

Now you can truly look like an oil painting thanks to our striking Carnaby coat in silk satin. The dynamic floral print consists of vivid tones of electric blue and poppy red, accompanied by accents of yellow, violet and pink. This striking coat features contrast piping on the cuffs, collar and down the centre front, and also features fabric-covered buttons.

KIMONO COAT BLUE CARRICK SILK DEVORE CHIFFON

Our elegant kimono coat is a stunning day or eveningwear piece. Cut in a beautiful silk devore chiffon and decorated with a delicate floral motif, the full-length kimono coat features three-quarter length sleeves and navy silk lapels and cuffs. Accents of pink contrasted against the navy chiffon bring to life the rose pattern throughout.
